The IMPACT group was founded in 1980 based on the idea that India is a rich country inhabited by poor people, and the solution for her economic backwardness lies in the proper and effective use of her vast human resources. The challenge that India faces today is to create a skilled society that will meet the needs of the corporate world. The IMPACT Group has taken this idea forward by establishing institutions that contribute to the technical manpower of our country. The IMPACT Group of institutions that includes the IMPACT Polytechnic, IMPACT College of Engineering, IMPACT College of Applied Sciences, IMPACT College of Education, the IMPACT Schools, our students have been groomed to fill this gap of skilled manpower. It's heartening that we are now carrying forward that vision with the latest addition to the group – the IMPACT Institute of Management Studies, (IIMS).

Idea is to provide residential technical education for 500 students. Half of them will be from BPL family and no fee will be collected from them. We look for central and state government schemes for grants . We will institute three prizes of one lakh each for top students. Staff will be well paid and hence well motivated.
We will have weekly meet of staff at the auditoriam and monthly meet for the children of the staff
